About
Built to save time.
Snap the receipt instead of typing it up. That's the whole idea – and the time you get back is the point.
Why we keep it small.
- 01Made for individual activity (individuali veikla).
For self-employed VAT payers in Lithuania. It isn't a heavy accounting system for companies, and it doesn't try to be.
- 02You stay in control.
You check each invoice right next to the original. We prepare the files for you to upload in the VMI portal.
- 03Your language.
English, Lithuanian, Polish, German, Latvian or Russian – pick the one that feels like home.
- 04Ready for the VMI portal.
We prepare the file from invoices you've checked – ready for you to upload in the VMI portal.

How it started
Alexander is German and has lived in Lithuania since 2022. He works as a photographer and in marketing, so he's on the road a lot.
Every month, that meant a stack of receipts to type up for VAT. And at the end of the year, he wanted to see side by side how the 30% flat expense deduction compared with his itemised receipts.
So he built a tool for himself first. Then he noticed how many people have the same problem – or simply want their time back.
With a small team in Druskininkai, Lithuania, Alexander and Nic turned it into VectorInvoice. For the launch, it is operated under Alexander Mauz's individual activity (individuali veikla) in Lithuania.
The founders

Alexander Mauz
Co-founder
German, in Lithuania since 2022. Photographer and marketer – and the one whose pile of receipts started it all.
Nic Joubert
Co-founder
South African. Spent two decades in London and recently moved to Lithuania. [description follows]
Who it's for
Self-employed people, small partnerships (MB), and companies that want to approve their employees' receipts. There's more on the Who it is for page.
What it isn't
- Not a government tax office.
- Not an accounting firm.
- Nothing is filed or sent until you confirm it.
- No invented customer numbers or time-saved claims.
Where we operate
We run VectorInvoice from Lithuania. Your data is processed in the EU: the service is hosted by Scaleway in Paris, and receipts are read through Mistral's EU endpoint.
